Radio Bavaria
A film by Jörg Bundschuh

In the middle of Europe there is a place where – as everyone knows – people are different from anywhere else in the world – the Bavarians. But what is behind this myth? "Bavaria Blue" stes out to discover the secret. Together with American director Rick Mahony (Andy Geer) who is preparing a television programme for American TV, we undertake a trip into the exotic world of everyday life. Even if the characters a fictional, the stories are based on actual events. At the end of the film the spectators will have got to know Bavaria as they probably never saw it before.
FAZ: "A sort of Bavarian Nashville.” Die Welt: "A lively, anarchic satire of Bavarian folklore, Bavaria Blue hits the mark.” Rheinische Post: ”Sassy, crazy and deliciously screwy.” WAZ: "A wild declaration of love to Bavaria…amusing and thought-provoking at the same time.” Augsburger Allgemeine: ”Bavaria Blue is firmly in the tradition of Karl Valentin. Loads of fun.”
